Brian's Story
Well upon graduating From Penquis in June'89, I enrolled in the University of Maine in Sept. '89. While at UMaine I was involved in the Wilde-Stein Society, as well as the Stonewall Democrats.
During college a friend of mine got me interested in working with the developmentally disabled and Mentally Ill. I am still in that field, Starting at OHI in Bangor and currently with Port Resources in Portland.
While in college I lived in Bangor and Old Town. I moved to the Portland area in the spring of 1999, which is where I currently am living.

ve never been married. I have two nephews: KC Pennington and Benjamin Stanley, and one neice: Haley Pennington.
I do some volunteer work in my spare time. The organizations I have done work with have included: Human Rights Campaign, Amnesty International, Equality Maine, Maine Won't Discriminate, OutRight (Board of Directors), EMAN, the Peabody Center, Southern Maine Pride, ASPCA, and the Portland Musuem of Art (Patron).
My hobbies include reading and book collecting, art collecting, art galleries and musuems, the gym, the beach, collecting movies, and hanging out with friends.
