Brian's Story

Life I graduated from MSU then Carnegie Mellon University with a Masters in Theatre Design. I moved to NYC, but only lived there briefly. During that time I worked on 2 films as art director, Night of the Living Dead and The Dark Half. I moved from NYC to LA, where I have lived for over 14 years. I worked for 1 1/2 years in the Entertainment Division at Disneyland, then switched over to television. I am currently working in television as a Production Designer. I design around 14 shows a year, the most high profile being The Golden Globe Awards and the Grammy Awards. I have received 2 Emmy Awards for the Grammys. Other shows...Expand for more
include the Country Music Awards and the Kennedy Center Honors, plus shows for the BET Network(they are the best!!). Los Angeles is a great city, somewhere I thought I would never end up. Television is demanding but I love the process of designing and a live show going on air. Currently single, but dating. Still looking for the perfect partner. Hope to see more bios on this site. I see people turning to sites like this to reconnect with past friends, especially in our age range. I really disliked Kettering while I was there, but had good friends. Happy to be out of the midwest, but love to visit every couple of years.
