Brian's Story
Brian is from White Bear Lake, Minnesota. He is married. His schools include White Bear Lake High School, Central Junior High School, Washington Elementary School, Willow Lane Elementary School, Birch Lake Elementary School. He later attended University of Northwestern. He works(ed) at Abbey Care, BRT Photography, ACR Homes.

ly affected me in a significant way. For the first time I was forced to pause and look at life and everything that surrounds us and think about what is really important. Second, for all practical purposes losing my career--photography has changed so much in the past three or four years... huge increase in the number of photographers and a general shift from male to female dominance, I just don't want to fight it any more (I still do photography but just don't push for or depend on it). Third, leaving a job I've had and loved for over 15 years--teaching photography at NW College. (changes in bosses are not always easy...) And finally, perhaps the most difficult--learning that someone you love very much no longer loves you...
So that's where I am at right now. I have three beautiful kids who mean the world to me, I keep active in guitar, worship leading, and working with the church youth group. And I really enjoy working with adults with developmental disabilities, and being the PCA to my down-syndrome brother-in-law. But life is a journey, and I will continue to trust in God for guidance and will try to make the best of what I have...".
