Brian's Story

I think people would remember me as a dork mostly. I had a lot of great friends though. Also my step-dad was a doctor (Dr. Kilgus, still there) in Grapevine, so people remembered that last name attached to me moreso than my real name. I loved my loud car stereo back then, I am paying for it now! People would most remember me from my 1982 Red Ford Escort with the 18" and 15" subwoofers in it (2x18 and 4x15). I spent thousands of dollars on it and I think it was pretty much the hardest hitting (bass) car at GHS in 1990. I loved music, loved rap, before rap became what it is today! People would also remember that same car as being white with a big green splotch of ...Expand for more
the front (looked like it had been slimed!). That was before it was red. I continued my love of car audio into some of my Mustang GTs that I had in the late 90's and up to 2003. I haven't been into it since then though. Now I spend my days at ExxonMobil as a contractor working to allocate hard drive storage to RISC servers. Fun! Hey, it pays the bills... I love to build things, love haunted houses, and I volunteer a lot of my time to the Special Olympics of Texas in the form of the Boneyard Haunted House in Arlington. I still live in Grapevine to this day. I have been married for 16 years and have a 15 year-old son who is a sophomore at Colleyville Heritage HS.
