Brian's Story
Life
I went to the Univ. of Arizona and recieved my BS degree in Engineering and was commissioned an Ensign. Then I went to the Naval Postgrad school in Monterey, CA (Nice place) and recieved my MS degree in Mechanical Engr. Currently, I'm a Lieutenant Commander in the Navy and I'm the Main Propulsion Asst. on the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower which is an Aircraft Carrier stationed in Norfolk, VA. Lieutenant Commander on the USS D.D. Eisenhower as the Main Propulsion Asst. from Jan. 04- Dec. 05. Deputy Asst. Project Superintendent on the USS ALASKA overhaul, Ship Safety Officer on USS GEORGIA and Carrier Type Desk Business Officer at Norfolk Naval shipyard from March 2006-2008. Propulsion Systems Manager at the Program Executive Office for in-service Carriers in PMS 312E from 2009-2010; where I was selected for Commander. Deputy Division Director and Atlantic Fleet Ship Design Manager for in-service Aircraft Carriers at NAVSEA Systems Command(NAVSEA 05V) 2010-present.
