Brian's Story
After completing High School, I completed a B.Comm degree with a major in Accounting at the U of S in Saskatoon. I then moved to Winnipeg where I "articled" with what is now PricewaterhouseCoopers and in December 1970 qualified as a Chartered Accountant. I left Canada in October 1971 with the intention of having a working holiday in Australia after spending time looking around New Zealand. made a permanent return to Canada as in March 1975 I married a "kiwi" Sherree. We have a daughter, son and 3 grandsons. Sherree and I still live in Auckland but in the early 1990's we lived in Singapore for 1 year and 2 years in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida while I first worked in Asia and then in Eastern Europe. Prior to retiring in April 2009, over a 3 year period I made 12 visits to Vietnam providing support to projects on behalf of the US parent of the company I worked for in New Zealand.
