g because of the degeneration of his back. He started college as a freshman at the age of 40 and graduated from Mankato State College the day after I graduated from Mankato Wilson High School.
For 16 years starting in 1993, I wrote a great number of articles on farming, old farm tractors and machinery and the companies that made the farm machines. All of thes articles now appear on WellsSouth.com/blog. The articles are accessible on Google based on the type of farming, e.g. dairy farming, corn planting and cultivating, or navy bean farming. The articles are also accessible by the name of the farm equipment company, i.e. Horn Manufacturing, Keck and Gonnerman Threshing Company or the Wood Brothers Threshing Machine Company. I am continuing to add articles to this web site. A great deal of the preliminary information for all the articles that I write comes from my memories of the first 16 years of my life on the family farm. However, the articles require a great deal of research to compensate for youth an inexperience of all aspects of farming that was facing my father while on the farm.".
