Brianna's Story
As you can see I have changed little, lost some hair maybe --- I will have to see what I can come up with for a photo -- I have mostly group stuff but will try to find something.
I guess I should start early since I registered with one of my elementary schools (geez, I am getting old).
After leaving Travis AFB, I attended middle school and high school at Kadena on Okinawa. I had great friends who unfortunately I almost never talk with. However, I did make it to a reunion several years back and saw a few familiar faces; not to mention danced most of the night to some great 80`s music (yes, I liked it back then and still do).
After graduating high school, I went to college in CA; changed universities and majors three times before graduating in southern CA. And no, I do not need to hear the get-focused-and-make-a-decision-already speech because I got enough of it back then thank you very much. Besides, I ended up meeting a lot of people and making some really good friends who, again, I sadly talk with rarely - although I do manage to chat with a few of you.
After college, I tutored and taught several years which gave me the opportunity to nanny my beautiful niece during the summers (she is now 16 and driving - just a warning for those of you on the road).
After teaching high school for years, I needed a break (imagine that) and headed back to Japan to teach English. I really enjoyed being back there and even got to visit Okinawa on vacation (things have changed - or maybe it was me who had changed). The time there w...Expand for more
as like a long homecoming for me and I have gone back a couple times to catch up with friends.
Once I moved back to the states, I started working at a healthcare software company; worked my way up to become one of their clinical product managers. I moved on to another healthcare company to be their only product manager - which has its pros and cons.
I travel some for my job - conferences, customers, trainings. I have never been much for sticking in one place (as already evidenced in the previous paragraphs) so the travel works for me. I have visited a lot of places and get to meet a lot of people. We have a beautiful country but I will admit a preference for some places over others and will refrain from detailing either list here in deference to those of you who insist on liking Texas. (just kidding - mostly)
I try to use my airline miles for vacations and as I mentioned before have been back to Japan as well as Australia and other destinations. A couple years back I went to Orlando and finally visited Disney World - we had a great time (in spite of the horrible cold I caught and surviving the Tower of Terror - TWICE - I tell you now - Don`t Do It!).
Managed to skirt the issue thus far, but I am single with no kids and no I do not need to be set up on a blind date with your cousin Lenny who I am sure is a really nice guy and is not really to blame for having to live at home in his mom`s basement.
However, if your cousin happens to be Michael Weatherly, Nathan Fillion, or Brendan Fraser I am free next Friday night.
