Bridget's Story
I used to be Bridget Banks, but since 1995 I've been Bridget Smyser, having joined forces with my awesome husband Rob. Our kids Tristan & Kieran are 23 and 22 years old, still living at home but working full time. We live in one of the Boston suburbs. I am a Teaching Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Northeastern University. free tuition is a cool benefit, not to be wasted. One of my sons works at Petco and gets massive discounts and has a soft heart. Consequently I share my house with 4 cats, 2 snakes, 3 geckos, 1 chameleon, 1 tarantula (which I am still getting used to) and somewhere around 7 different assorted freshwater and saltwater aquariums. I volunteer as a Cub Scout Cubmaster in my spare time and I'd rather be up to my knees in dirt in my garden than anywhere else.
