Bridgett's Story
Life
Left Coolidge in 1974 and moved to Harrison, Arkansas where my Dad and four other CAC professors had taken jobs at a newly opened College. Moved to Panama City Beach, Florida with a girlfriend in 1977 and eventually lived in Tampa, Miami and then moved to Charleston, South Carolina in 1979. In 1993 I moved to Birmingham, Alabama where I still live today. I have a son, Michael, born on Valentine's Day in 1982 in Charleston. I am part owner of a title insurance/real estate closing company that we opened in February of 2003. My husband is the Business Manager at a Chrysler Jeep Dealership here in Birmingham. We enjoy traveling, snorkeling, boating and going to the beach. My son got married December 29, 2007, so we now have a new daughter in law. My son is an RN and works in the heart cath lab at Stringfellow Hospital in Anniston, Alabama (about 45 minutes from Birmingham) and his w...Expand for more
ife works in the pharmacy at the same hospital. Michael is 6'3" and his wife, Kim, is 5'11" so we have some very tall grandchildren to look forward to some day. We also have two dogs, a maltese-shih tzu mix named Chloe and a lhasa apso-shih tzu mix named Molly.
Time does fly. I retired at the end of March, 2013 and have lots of projects planned but have gotten nothing accomplished so far. We have been travelling and spending time with the grandbabies. Mitchell Blaine s four, born on January 22, 2009 and Macy Caroline is almost 9 months, born on November 25, 2012. They are so much fun and I spend as much time with them as possible. My husband is still with the same dealership (over 20 years now). My son works for Hospice now and is back in school to get his Nurse Practitioner's Degree. I'm looking very forward to getting back to Arizona in October for our 40th (wow!) class reunion.
