Brigitte's Story
Let's see....high school was kind of a difficult time for me....come to think of it...after high school has had it's bad times too! Anyway, after high school, I started working full time at a Family Physician Group Practice here in Modesto. I got married in 1991. After a few years, I changed jobs and went to work in Turlock, CA at MedicAlert Foundation as a Customer Satisfaction Representative. I also worked part-time at a landscapte maintenance company....ugh! I stayed at that job until about 2003. I had my first son, Shon in 1995. At that point, I decided that I needed to concentrate on my family and myself, so I stopped working. Then, came along my second s...Expand for more
on, Nathan in 2005. Totally not planned...but an absolute blessing! Right now, I am a housewife and mother and also the VP for Johansen High School Band Boosters! My older son plays the trumpet and bass drum...that's how I got roped into that! lol Nah, I love working with kids they keep us young, right!? I seem to get along with most of the students...so hopefully I haven't changed tooo much since high school! Well, maybe a little wiser, but still fun! Since my younger one will be heading off to Kindergarten this August, I'm not sure if I will take some classes or head back into the workforce....heck, I might even just take the time to concentrate on "me"...
