Brittany's Story
Life
Well lets see.. Im married to the love of my life which i met in the 10th grade. He's in the Army and has been for 3 years now. We live on Fort Rucker, in Alabama. I work at the Kohls in Dothan i go to school part time at Enterprise-Ozark Community College. I have two adorable dogs Rusty and Disco.. Both Chihuahuas.. Only one of them actually looks like it though. No kids yet.. Were still working on that one.. All of my friends are Army wives.. Go figure! and I dont get to see family as often as i'd like. Now that im married i have 6 nieces, my brother dustin has 2 girls, my sister jessica has 1 girl, my husbands sister has 3 girls... Good gosh the christmas bills!!! lol! Anything else i will have to update when it happens!
School
Nothing to fancy happeneing at the school im at now.. EOCC its actually very low key! Young Harris in GA on the other hand is a completely different story and id need an entire web page alone to write all about that experience!
College
Where to begin. I went to Young Harris College my freshmen year and boy did it suck then. Bad Food From ARA, large staircase to my room, walking EVERYWHERE YOU WENT, small campus.. Lots of gossip, No civilization near by, no walmart, everything being at least 20 minutes away, its always really cold or really hot. But then there are the things i miss alot, my best friends also my roomates Brittany West, Kelly Lord, and My roomate Katie Warr, Long lunch talks, Spinach Dip, shaving cream wars with the neighbors, Cupid falls, Studying on the lawn, plenty of things to do after school was over, LOTS of people to hang out w...Expand for more
ith even if you didn't know someone, all you had to do was say hello and you were instantly family, There are so many things that i miss about Young Harris! But mostly i just miss the friends and the freedom. Not that i am married, there is plenty of freedom, but not the same as when i was single and in college! The stories i could probably tell you would probably freak some people out because they would only be understood if you actually went to school there for instance, at Young Harris Party's are not in dorms, because that is prohibited, Parties are in the woods, also prohibited but only if you get caught. I only went to one party.. which happened to be the last party Young Harris had. You had to drive to North Carolina.. about 10 miles away.. onto this "old Mans' property where the cops could go but couldnt arrest you because it was private property. You drank all you wanted for 5 bucks and then you could either campout there or have a DD drive you home. Lucky for me some girls from the dorm below me said they were going as DD's so i just rode with them because all of my roomates were gone for the weekend. I ended up having a great time only to find out one of the guys Over Dosed at the party. This cause a major uproar at the college and therefore pretty much stopped all partying from there on in. Other than that College life was freakin awesome and i miss it SO much!
