Bruce's Story
Life
Married High School sweet heart Sue (Elizabeth Skoczen) in 1969 and we are still together. Retired from IBM in 1998 after 30 years. I've worked away from home, Round Rock, Texas as a job shopper at IBM in RTP North Carolina for three plus years (2002-2005). Traveled home about very month and a half and holidays. IBM allowed me to work from home (Round Rock) for three years (2005-2008)until work force reduction. Now I'm working away from home once again, this time for ITT in Clifton New Jersey (Dec 2008-Oct 2009). Well Guess what? I'm back home once again and working for IBM (Oct 2009-). Will I ever retire? August will be 40 yrs (2009). She is a trooper putting up with me for that long.
My Kids
They all turned out to be productive citizens.
Oldest son served 8 yrs in the Navy and earned a BS in general studies while in the service. Adam is married and has two childern.
Daughter went to Texas Tech and earned her BS degree in Zoology. Jennifer is married and has Two childern.
Youngest son, Charlie is serving his country in the USMC as a recruiter in Oklahoma. He's served two tours in Iraq, and one year in Okinawa. He is now married with two childern.
