Bruce's Story
Hi.....it's Bruce.
My senior year was in 1978. My family moved into C'ville that year.
Therefore, I graduated from Crawfordsville High School instead of Southmont my senior year of school.
Life happens. :)
I went to Indiana State University for one year after high school.
Then about 2 yrs later I joined the Air Force.
I never planned on joining the Air Force, but.....life happens. :)
I was stationed at Malmstrom AFB in Great Falls, Montana for two years......loved it. :)
Then I was stationed at Wallace Air Station in the Philippines.
It was interesting as I never had been out of the USA before then.
The people were great and so was some of the country.
However, there was alot of poverty there.
Makes you thankful for what you do have.
Then I was stationed at Tinker AFB in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
It was nice as I actually got to live off base,...Expand for more
and adopted my 1st kitty there.
My room mates were also in the AF and became great friends of mine.
However, out of the 3 places I was stationed this was my least favorite one.
I have been in Orlando, FL for the past 12 years.
I love it here, and do NOT miss the snow and cold weather.
I never planned on moving here, but .............life happens. :)
I have 7 cats and 1 dog to call "my family".
I always said that 3 cats and 1 dog was enough.
However, life happens. :)
I am still looking for that special someone, and know he is out there somewhere.
Somewhere over the rainbow.......life happens. :)
