Bruce's Story
Life
After being a Dynamiter, I joined the navy and flew in helicopters. Probably the most noteworthy thing I did was picking up Apollo 14. After the Navy I moved to Napa and started college. It took me 3 years to get through. Then on to Santa Cruz where I got a Degree in Psychology. After that I took a ten year detour into Rock and Roll. n years of that, I went to Japan (Betty Ford Clinic without walls) for what I thought would be 6 months. I taught in conversation schools then a two year college and after that Universities. Finally landing at Temple University Japan. Twelve years later I returned to the states with a Japanese wife and two great kids. I then began teaching and administrating in the San Jose area. I'm now a statewide director in the community college system.
