Bryan's Story
Life
I joined the Marines after graduation 1994. However to make a long story short I got out of the Marines as a Sergeant on July 15, 2004; on a disability after 10 years of service for a back injury which happened while going through the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program. Then the wife (Erin) and I moved back to Hawaii in May 04.
I was working in the aviation field in the Marines, but with my injury I can't do my specific job anymore. So I'm in school for ICS (Computer classes) at LCC.
I married my beautiful wife Erin on April 23, 2000. No kids yet though, just 2 cats.
I'm currently in a (Progressive Rok/Metal)band who has been in a serach for a really good singer for over a year now. My bassist is Cory Vennen (Kalaheo class of 93). We're called "Lushion".
If I hadn't occured the back injury I would have probably stayed in the Marine Corps for a career. My intentions when I first joined were to go to school then get commissioned (like that happened haha!). Then I started to focus on going through to become a Warrant Officer.....and that never happened because of my injury that happened in Feb...Expand for more
2003.
Yes I loved the Marined Corps, but now it's done. Music is what really drives me now. It drove me as a teen, and I regret giving it up after graduation.
I started playing drums when I was 12 and stopped at 18. I picked it back up again in 2001 at the age of 25.
I have a photo album up. In there you'll see pics of me from when I was fit, to my fat ass now. Also pics of my beatiful bride and my brother J.R. (Saturnino Aquino III- Kalaheo class of 96) and his 2 kids which I miss very much.
In my own view I have changed since high school. I'm a bit more vocal, aggressive, and somewhat stern (mabye an understatement haha). I recall being quiet around people in school unless I really knew you.
I still intend on getting eveyrthing out of life that I can, but I can only do that one step at a time.
I wish to rekindle the friendships that I had with people in school, and also make new ones as well. I'm forgiving, so any grudges that I may have had then (or anyone against me), I wish forget and move on as friends. We're not getting any younger now, so why make more/maintain as enemies?
