Bryan's Story
Life
I grew up in the military. Off and on I lived in Anacortes, WA, while Dad was in Vietnam and overseas. I attended school there several times, including Junior High with the future class of 1978. I actually started High School at Rancho High School, in Las Vegas, NV. I was yanked out of school there in the middle of our Jr. year and sent to Avondale, AZ, Agua Fria Union High School, home of the mighty Desert Owls!
Literally, AFTER graduation, I received a scholarship to the US Air Force Academy and spent 8 years on Active Duty flying as a Navigator and Bombardier in B-52s. I lived in Sacramento (Navigator Training), Rapid City, SD (77th Bomb Squadron), and Rome, NY (668th Bomb Squadron). In 1990, I earned my MBA at Rensselear Polytechnic Institute and I bailed from the Air Force. I moved to Pittsburgh where I'm flying C-130s with the Reserves (758th Airlift Squadron - currently a Lieutenant Colonel).

al civilian jobs: Quaility Engineer with Cooper Power Systems, a Project Manager for a small civil engineering company, and a Flight Crew Trainer for US Airways pilots. Throughout I kept the night job. In 2003 I was mobilized and spent two years flying troops and supplies around Iraq and Afghanistan (2003- 2005). While I was activated and overseas I was furloughed by US Airways. Life is good, however. In Jan 2006, I found a job with the Civil Service as, of all things, an C-130 Instructor Navigator! (Not many of us left!) Currently I'm the Chief Navigator for the 758th Airlift Squadron.
I got married (Laura - we met in South Dakota) in 1986 and have three kids: Kara (20) - Mercyhurst College, Jill (18) - University of Pittsburgh, and Kurt (14). Hope to hear from old friends - about what you've been up to, and any reunions since I've been out and about for so long.
Prost! Skal! Salud! Serefe! Salute! Shereve! Cheers!
