While many don’t catch the musical bug until later in life, some of Bryan’s earliest memories include singing in the church choir, hearing Randy Travis and Garth Brooks through his father’s backseat car stereo, rebelling against classical piano lessons, and tackling tunes by ear. rk hard, stay patient, and true to who you are, the longevity and success will come,” Bryan elaborates. Bryan’s hard work is beginning to pay off. His song “If She Could See Me Now” was recorded by Jason Aldean, one of country music’s biggest stars, and released on his 2010 album, “My Kinda Party.”
Bryan has also logged in long hours with some of the biggest songwriters in country music. Writing with the likes of Bill Luther (Tim McGraw, Faith Hill), David Frasier (Kenny Chesney), Justin Weaver (Jason Aldean) and David Lee (George Strait, Lady Antebellum, Montgomery Gentry, John Michael Montgomery).
No matter the amount of success he has experienced or is to come, Bryan returns to his humble roots often. He volunteers on a regular basis, playing for children at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital. Occasionally, Bryan also leads worship at his church in downtown Nashville.
Bryan Edwards is country music personified. But don’t look for a flash-in-the-pan record or a short-lived stint on some reality show. “My two biggest fears are being a one-hit-wonder or being known for something that isn’t completely representative me,” he says. “I’d be fortunate to have one hit, but I love what I do and I want to be respected for what I create, not just once but every time I put myself out there.
