HI ALL -- Since high school graduation in '75, I attended Wichita State University where I graduated in '79 with a major in chemistry and minors in mathematics and biology. I attended graduate school at Iowa State University (at Ames Laboratory) where I received my PhD in physical chemistry in '86. While in graduate school I met fellow graduate student Maureen, we married in 1983. I went to Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) as a postdoctoral fellow, and became a technical staff member. I have published/presented well over one-hundred technical papers. I was Chief-of-Staff for the Deputy Director for National Security for a few years. My core work involved protecting and sustaining our national security in tangible ways. I took on increased responsibilities, as Senior Advisor for Weapon Physics, while maintaining my connections with national security policy issues. I was the Director of the National Security Office for over 7 years at LANL conducting National and International Security Policy Analysis.
