Bryan's Story

Before graduation, you might remember that I married Rose Russell in April 1979 (and divorced in December 1984). We have three phenomenal children, Adina, Latasha, and Tristan, and my unofficial adoption of my 4th child, Nikki (they all reside in Ephrata, Soap Lake and Moses Lake). I have come close a couple of times, finding myself wanting to remarry, but I have been unmarried since. I have been on the west side of the mountains (Seattle area) since 1998. I have been in the Agricultural, Construction Parts business for going on 30+ years. I enjoy spending time with my four children, nine grandchildren, and my great grandson, who just turned one this year (2023). Music is my go-to, as I started collecting vinyl records and going to a lot of live concerts again. My son Tristan and I were able to take in a Chicago concert this (September), and my eldest daughter Adina and I indulged in a KANSAS 50th anniversary concert in Seattle (09/08/2023). Blues and jazz music are also some of my favorites. Of course, the music of the 70s & and 80s (including all those one hit wonders) had a lot of truth and meaning from that time, and help make fond memories... there are too many favorite music groups to list, and my list is too vast to put here. In my spare time, I enjoy gardening, taking in what the PNW has to offer for adventure and travel. As my body ages and begins to feel the aches and pain...Expand for more
s from the past endeavors of my youth, I prefer a great hotel over camping in a tent. The sunsets at Ruby Beach (South of Forks, WA) are phenomenal (see pictures) and breathtaking, and I take them in whenever I can. I am a person of faith, and I enjoy reading the words in red. With everything that is going on in the world today. The Bible is my go-to book to keep me grounded. I have always enjoyed singing and found that I have a God-given talent for it, in the past, singing in jazz, blues, and rock bands as lead vocal. The most singing I do nowadays is in my shower (LOL) or in my church praise and worship group. As I get older and somewhat wiser, connecting with the past is important, so I can share those memories (with family) which. Passing along memories is a good thing. I find sharing stories with my kids and grandchildren of how things were then. It was a simpler life, but sharing current moments with family is important as my mortality grows closer to the end than it was back in my younger days when I thought 40 was old. 😊 My humor continues to be very dry and sarcastic 🙄, but part of that is my not politically correctness. Perhaps not being politically correct has to do with the time of morals and values I grew up with. Thank you all for taking a moment to read this, and I look forward to hearing back from all of you and seeing everyone together this coming May 18, 2024.
