Bryan 's Story
Life
Married 21 years. I was a Security Patrol Officer, having been in the Security field for 22 years, counting Security Police (Air Force) during Viet Nam (now called Security Forces). I am a member of the Ca State Sheriffs Assoc., the Air Force Security Police Assoc., the Travis Police Association, & the International Foundation for Protection Officers. I was forced to take a Medical retirement. I was also a Lay Pastor near Sacramento in 1989-1990. My wife Judy and I live in Sacramento. After the military, I played drums and hand percussion, and sang back-up and low harmony in the Newhall/Canyon Country area. I played at the Chandelier in CC for about a year, along with Brewster's Rooster in Newhall, on Lyons Ave. I moved to Red Bluff, near Redding (northern CA) after leaving Canyon Country...Expand for more
in 1980. In 1984, I worked on a ranch in Le Grand, Idaho, green-breaking horses for round-up. In 1985, I worked on a ranch in Baker, Oregon, where I was Cook, Grill Master, and Pit Master, along with helping in the sales of parcels of Ranch property, and common ranch-hand work. In 1986, I went to Costa Rica, Central America, to help start a Children's home. I came back in January, 1987. I retired from working as a Cowboy in Ca., Idaho, & Oregon, after a near-death injury. My wife Judy and I are now retired and disabled. I am now an Internationally published poet, being published in approx. 28 anthologies.
