John's Story

In 1976 I married AHS '73 classmate Karen Kaufman. We have three adult offspring, seven grandgirls and our old cat has died. In 1995 I began traveling by human power instead of car, and I've diverted about 150,000 miles into cycling since then. are helping her stay in her home. I am CTO of a small independent news provider, do audio and video recording and editing, am a part of OMEGA responders and still a photographer. But mainly, I am a caregiver to a dementia patient. Facing the possibility that I "may" be retired. Still in love with Karen Cay.
