Buffy's Story
Life
After five glorious years of living it up in Hawaii, and 4 years in Alaska before that......I'm headed back to Elizabeth City,NC in August of 2006, following the birth of my daughter. I'm thinking this will be a temporary move because, I've never felt like I was part of the whole E-City scene. I can't imagine not retiring and spending the rest of my days in the islands of Hawaii. It's expensive but, it seems like home. I'm hoping that I'll see things in a different light when I go back to NC but, let me tell you I'm worried.

I guess I'll see some of you around. I plan to commute long distance to school after we're settled in. I'm considering becoming a dental hygienist even though I'm discouraged by family members on a regular basis. Hopefully someone else is yearning to head down the same path I am so, that we can share the long ride. I've been there, done that, and I can do it again. I'm always reminding myself it all pays off in the end. I'm constantly reminded by others that I'm not 20 years old anymore but, sometimes I still think I am. We'll see.
