Rusty's Story
Life is good. Attended Clackamas Grade School, Duniway Grade School in Portland, Benson High School grad in '64. Went Army to Vietnam and after sent me to Fort Bragg North Carolina, Finished up and went to college, met my wife Sue, and upon graduation hired by federal government in 3-letter agencies in Washington DC. Worked in world wide assignments and finally retired in 2005. We are doing well lived on 15 acres in North Carolina, play golf, and enjoying traveling. Empty nest now of course. joined the diplomatic corps with the State Department, currently posted in US Embassy Iraq. The picture is of me during a sand storm in Baghdad 2009. Dec 09 back to full retirement again. But now here in 2011 have been asked to return back to the embassy. Retired again (for good) July 2013. Good life for sure now after a slow start during and after grade school and high school. Nobody figured i'd amount to much. It's surprising what one can do for oneseff and be blessed with a wonderfuff wife. Hope all goes well with my classmates.
