Byron's Story
Life
I'm still a geologist with the U.S. Geological Suvey (U.S. Department of the Interior), now in my 41st year that counts, but actually in my 44th year. Work (still fun) takes me to NJ, MA, NM, MI, OH, AK, MO, Morocco, Cyprus. Married for 38 years, two kids; Jeremy (34, graduated from Oberlin), Liz (30, graduated from Ohio Wesleyan as the 4th generation Stone).

o celebrate the big 60. Not quite as spontaneous as the old Four Sharps of the summer of '64. Working to finish the glacial geology of all of Massachusetts these days; the local USGS office is in East Hartford, CT. The other office is at USGS headquarters in Reston, VA. Looking forward to a few more productive years. I had a ball at our 40th and 45th reunions. It was great to see all the young folks from our class. I hope to work on the geology of the BG area before time catches up with me (bdstone at usgs.gov).
