Cady's Story
Life
I graduated from The University of Tulsa in May of 1999. Matt Shults and I got married that following November at McBirney Mansion in Tulsa, Oklahoma. We have two dogs, who think they're our kids, and a bird. I am the Marketing and Sponsorship Coordinator for the Tulsa State Fair. Matt works at Winnercomm as the Associate Producer of the Rodeo department. We do not have children yet but plan to soon.
School
Originally, I went to Kindergarten in Houston, TX, but my parents moved to McAlester just in time for me to start at Will Rogers Elementary. From there, I made the pre-requisite changes to Puterbaugh, Parker and MHS. After graduation from High School, I moved to Tulsa, OK to attend The University of Tulsa.
College
What can I say, college was...Expand for more
a BLAST!!! I loved every minute of it. In fact, if it would have been possible, I would be a professional student. I did not join a sorority, but lived the Greek life vicariously through Matt at the Kappa Sigma house. I became friends with most of my professors and still keep in touch with several (Hi Bill and John!). The four years went by way to quickly.
Workplace
In college, I did the retail thing - Lyon's Indian Store and American Eagle Outfitters. Needless to say, I don't go to the mall due to these experiences. I was a nanny while in college as well for two beautiful little girls. After college, I worked for 5 years as the Research Director for KOTV, The News on 6. Currently, I am the Marketing and Sponsorship Coordinator for the Tulsa State Fair.
