Calvin's Story
Let's start with leaving for the Army at the end of the summer in 1974. In coming back to Cortez after 2 years, I thought I was ready to go to Fort Lewis College. I was in and out but graduated in 1982. Found myself headed to St Johns Arizona for work. A much smaller town that Cortez.
After 3 years there at the Power Plant, I got a break and ended up at the main laboratory for the company in Phoenix. Moving to Phoenix Arizona was in creditable. ng divorced and stayed single for many years, as the boys grew up. Meet my current wife Patricia online with her son, amazing, we meet in 2006 and married in 2008, at a family reunion in Oklahoma with my sons, sisters, cousins and now I have 4 boys. After 40 years, I decided it was time to hang up the lab coat and end the mad scientist career. I ended up as a Senior Environmental Scientist aka Chemist. Who know that David Totman (Chemistry Teacher) from our Junior and Senior years, would help get that ball rolling.
To keep me from getting bored. I started a very small vending machine business. I now work about 10 hours/week...not bad. I need to dust off my camera and fishing pole.
For fun, I added some of our teacher photos from 1959 and 1964 yearbooks. It's amazing on how young they look. my guess they are in there middle 20's and 30's in those years.
