Cameron Dickey:  

After graduating from Rex Putnam in 1988, I spent the summer in the San Juan Islands managing a courtyard barbeque restaurant at Roche Harbor. I moved to Hawaii that fall and spent a year working at a brand new, $360 million resort on the Big Island. During that year, I camped for three days on the beach (Kona coast) with friends to celebrate my 19th birthday. With the "beach bum" dream successfully realized, I moved back to Portland and attended Clackamas Community College. I went sun seeking again in June 1990, moving to Tempe, Arizona to attend ASU studying Business Administration for my Bachelors Degree. After a 15-year "break", I graduated with a BS degree in business in 2010. I met my wife Kim in 1989 and our separate adventures kept us in different states for four and a half years. We were married in 1994, and we have three daughters (ages 25, 23, and 18) and a son (age 15) as of 2023. I've worked in the financial services industry since 1992, including roles as CFO and President/CEO. In July 2003 and 2004, I went on two missions trips to Nairobi, Kenya (Africa). Though I love the industry I work in, my experiences in Kenya have forever altered my passion for the things I used to think were important.
