Ok. When I was 18 my "mommy" got me my first job. Fun! Remember I was quiet! I grew up knowing most of her co-workers, so when I got my first job there, I pretty much knew everyone. During my time there at the grocery store, I worked different areas. My second job was when I turned 21, I worked at Walt Disney World in Orlando,Fl. I was a food and beverage hostess for one of the busiest places on Main Street in the Magic Kingdom, was given some responsibility, taking charge of the restaurant and the safe. Had a chance to go to Resorts. I went to Port Orleans Resort and as I spent my time there for 11 years, I started a family and went to college full time. Around May of 2001, I needed a career change to go with my new education, so I joined the US Army. Boot Camp was a blast. NOT! Couldn't see my kids for 6 mths with all the training I did. assignment there in AZ was to keep the whole military post safe, designed the cores for different types of doorknobs,I cut keys( key cuts had special codes for each type),had at least one key available to me that would open any door there, was even trained to get into safes. I discovered that I had skills, I never knew existed. Made a lot of great friends while I was there. Would I do it again and still go in at the age of 32 all over again? Hell yeah! That was the changing point of my life. I now work for the McDonald's Corporation. I am a Retention Specialist/Recruiter and I have 4 offices,the main corporate office in cocoa, fl, there is one in ft pierce, fl, my truck and my apt. I do a lot of travelling. I am responsible for 10 different restaurants as far as appearance of their crew and the hospitality piece. "I'm Loving It!" I get to talk way too much now! I feel sorry for all new crew. L.O.L.
