Candy's Story
Long story short: joined Air Force, lived in Oklahoma and Kansas. Met 1st husband, left military got Dental Hygiene degree from Wichita State University. Had daughter and moved to Arkansas then Illinois. Husband had mid life crisis and moved on. Single parent but then God gave me a wonderful man. Became step-mom to 3, now have 4 kids been married 12 years. Still work as hygienist part-time. aken 2 mission trips to Nicaragua. Daughter is getting married next year so planning, planning, planning. I still get back to Anderson 2-3 times a year so I can eat Art's roast beef sandwiches and Gene's spanish dogs and root beer. Life is Good!
Update 2011....daughter now married and living in Iowa. Son getting married next year to a girl from Estonia so big trip planned to include trip to England and maybe Ireland first. Grandma will be 99 in May so will be back in Anderson to see her...here I come Art's and Gene's!
