Candy's Story

Life I live in Blue Ridge and have since 92. I have been married to Tracy for since before graduation, 25 years. I have 2 sons Josh is 24 and he is hell on wheels, but he has a heart of gold and would do anything to help someone in need. Justin is 20 and he works for Collin County and is it the calm responsible one, which is a good thing I probably wouldn't have survived two like Josh. My husband has 1 mini pin, 1 mini schnauzer, 1 taco bell dog, and a half cow dog and pitbull. I can honestly say we have had our ups and down but I have been very luck. We don't have alot, but we have all we need and alot that don't need we just wanted. I have took up fishing in the last 5 years or so and we usually go fishing after work in the evenings and in the summer we are camping out at one of the lakes. I still play co-ed softball and I'm still trying get Diane to come play, but she always has an excuse. My boys are still single and neither are in any hurry to get married and give me some grandbabies. I thought I would at least have one by now. I can't wait for one or two. I keep wondering what it will be like when it's only me & Tracy at home. Justin moved out a year ago, Josh is still there. Do any of yall ever wonder what you will do when you have no kids at home. I have always dreaded that day and my husband will jump for joy. It will be strange sitting and staring at each other with no one around. Will be a sad day for me. I guess th...Expand for more
at's about all for now. School I started in Princeton and finished in Princeton. I can say my favorite teacher were all from elementary Mrs. Decker, Mrs. James & Mrs. Lambert, but I would say Mr. Garner was a great Principle and he that schools would be much better off today if they had more people like him in them. I was on the work program my Jr & Sr years and got out of school at 11:00 Jr & 10:00 Sr year. I didn't think I missed out on much, but I think I probably missed out on alot. I would stay all day if I could change it, if I knew it wouldn't change the last 25 years. Workplace Well it start out at KFC working the register, a fun job. Then went on to Brookshires were me and Diane worked at the same time. Left there for DLM thats were Barney was born and were I meet Tracy. We were going to get married in two weeks and we were supposed to get off at noon on Saturday and go get tickets for Lover Boy and they wouldn't let us off so we walked out and quit our job to get tickets. That was a good start don't you think. I went on to Job Corp from there and worked there for 8 years. I then went to work for my Uncle at his wrecking yard/wrecker service, I answered 4 phone at a time and misbatched 3 wreckers all by myself was really busy but I loved it, after 10 years I moved on and I have been ir the Irrigation/Landscape business ever since. I guess I have a really good job, pay is good, people are great and I can't complaint.
