Candyce's Story
After high school I went to Hinds Community College in Jackson where I learned dental assisting. After college I worked as a dental asst for about 6 months and decided I hated it and it didn't pay enough for me to be miserable. I then worked at Jitney Jungle as the receiving clerk (among other things). It became clear that I needed more out of life so on a whim I moved to Providence, RI in 1991. There I was an assistant dog trainer in a greyhound kennel. In 1993 I was offered a job to be the crew chief for a professional hot air ball...Expand for more
oon team. So I became the crew chief of the Kool balloon at which time I moved to Louisville, Kentucky. I traveled all over the country with the balloon and took flying lessons along the way. After that I lived for a short time in Illinois before heading back to Greenwood. I worked for Barry & Brewer/SouthGroup Ins for 10 years. Now, I live between Batesville and Oxford, MS. I am married to Chris Wells & have two beautiful girls. I am a dog groomer at an animal clinic in Oxford. I have a great clientel and love being with the animals.
