Carl's Story
Life
Born in Mt. Carmel on Jan. 28, 1965 to Wm G and the late Janet (Honeycutt) Ankenbrand. I have 3 siblings Sabrina (Arnold), Michelle and James. I lived in Mt. Carmel for 30 years and moved to Hoopeston, IL (home of the Cornjerkers) in the fall of 1995 to secure an art teaching job at the H.S. she could pay for invetro-fertilization so Kelly and I could have a baby. On Jan 19, 2000 my Daughter Taylor Madisyn Ankenbrand was born in Champaign, IL. In the Fall 0f 2006, I replaced the former elementary teacher and started teaching K-6 students art.
College
The best thing about college was living above Pete Hiney's my Jr.-Sr. year at SIUE. Made the most friends there. Mainly the old timers who came into the bar. I also enjoyed working at the Edwardsville Gun Club.
