Carl's Story
Life
Living in Alexandria, VA and working in Washington, DC. My number is in the book, give me a ring....
I put more thought into my school biography - read it instead.
School
Such a long time ago. It's odd the things you remember. I remember the ginko tree outside C building. I remember Mac and PJ. I remember Sasquatch. I don't like to, but unfortunately, I remember her. I remember, quite distinctly, the laughter of a girl in my honor's class. For the life of me, I can't remember her name, but I remember her laugh. She was a year or two younger, and a little annoying, but I remember her. I would give almost anything to talk to her again... I remember going to the basketball and football games, but not much afterwards... I remember Laura Varasso. She was always so dark and mysterious, but just as confused and scared and lonely as the rest of us...
I remember the cool of the dawn and walking to school, the dew on the grass soaking through my tennis shoes. I remember being totally uncool.

uld get a better look at the tree being described by Mr. Easter in biology... Things would be different knowing what I know now...
I remember aceing every math, physics or science test I felt like. It's funny how unimportant that is now, but how important that seemed then. I can't imagine that things would be SO different if I had blown off a test now and then.
I remember a girl at Johnny Clem that treated me with dignity and respect. I can't imagine how much I would have to say to Darlah Carey if ever I met her again. I remember a girl from Newark that I ran into a few times at Ohio State. I cannot believe how idiotic I was when I saw Linda Gaertner there. If only I had those moments to take back and to know what I know now...
I remember what it was like to live in a town and a time where we left cars and houses unlocked. I don't remember a lot of fun times, but I'm sure I had them. I remember the people. I remember a lot of young people who, in retrospect, were struggling, just like me to fit in, learn, move forward and grow up.
