Carl's Story
I thought I would make a good engineer after high school. I was wrong. I went to U of Illinois where I ended up with a journalism degree. Spent about four years covering sports and doing everything else at two central Illinois newspapers. Fun work, but I like to eat, so I went to U of Wisconsin for a law degree. in 1994 and have been practicing in McHenry County ever since. I run my own practice now; you can find it on the web if you are interested.
I began scuba diving to get away from work, which I love but can't do enough now. I got married late (2005) and am finalizing adoption of a little Thai boy, Charlie, who is my delight.
