See my myspace page at myspace dot com slash carlandlinda or add me as a friend on fbook. You might remember my older sister, Judy JM 65, and my little sister, Peggy JM '70, a lot of people have said they didn't realize Peggy is my little sister. Is that because she is so pretty and I'm...lol?
Anyway, I am single again now, can't believe I would be twice-divorced. Most of my friends know I was married to Linda Lemmons, JM '68. She will always be my BFF but, for a lot reasons beyond our control, I needed to move out (how can I say this politely...her mom and dad both live with her now and her mom has always needed Linda to put her FIRST leaving Linda unable to put a marriage first...). So I have moved back to my little house on an acre between Yukon and Mustang that I bought from my first ex, Connie, when she moved to Ardmore and let me have custody of my kids when they were about 9 and 11. So I was a single Dad raising a son and daughter thru their teen years before I met Linda again and remarried in '96.
As far as life goes, reflecting on my JM years, I really wish I had known what I know now and hadn't been so shy back then, I was smart but I had no clue about a lot of things when I was at JM, lol.
Going to OU was great, draft #346, got my master's degree following the path of least resistance, taught at OU and in Philadelphia, then got married and had a job working 80 hours a week for money not so hot. Got promoted by that employer and we moved to Vancouver WA in 1980, 2 weeks after St Helen's blew up, great place to live, except for the rain. I traveled every week covering western Canada, Oregon, Montana, Idaho, Utah, Wyoming, Alaska, Hawaii and N Calif. Hard on a marriage, got transferred back to OK after 2 years. Changed jobs, divorced, worked in Dallas and Amarillo, back to OKC. Changed jobs again.
Then my ex gave me custody of our kids around 1989 so I was a single dad working as a corporate trainer, still traveling some, mostly to the Southeast, but also to NM, Arizona, MO, KS, Tx & Calif.

get paid very well. Saw Linda Lemmons briefly at our 25th reunion in 1993, thought she was married. We reconnected in Oct '95 and we got married in March of 1996. She's worked at the same hospital as an RN in LDRP since 1973. She had been married before to a musician but never had kids tho she's delivered 1000's of kids.
Since 1999 I've been with my current employer, a bank founded in 1863, great company. I get to work from home and my job is to go out and make friends and give advice, and sell them on becoming our customers. I like it and the money's not bad.
It would have been nice to stop aging at around 35 but to keep on living. I really am glad that I got to go to JM at that time and place, just wish I'd known some of the things I know now, but I'm happy with the place I'm at.
I'm still working on my bio, not finished yet. I am happy and fortunate.

Workplace
I thought I would be a teacher for awhile and was a Grad Ass't at OU, teaching Latin there for 2 years. I worked in a restaurant while in grad school and ended up in the restaurant business for many years; from 1979-82 we lived in Vancouver WA, I traveled every week to consult with our franchisees in MT, ID, UT, WY, OR, AK, CA and western Canada. Moved back to OKC, same business, soon a different company and became their corporate trainer for 10 years, wrote their previously non-existent OPS manual, traveled to both coasts and a lot of little towns in between, taught their management school. I wrote and produced their training videos. I was a single dad by this time and could see that a trainer could only advance so far, so I left and got into training and selling in the communications/computer industry. I was invited to come to work for the oldest chartered bank west of the Mississippi River and have been their B2B rep in OK since 1999. I'm essentially still a teacher and consultant whose job is to go out and make new friends, working out of my house and car. I like it.
