Carl's Story
Some of my old friends and acquaintances will remember me by "CAT" . Some of my family and old friends still call me that.
When I left Alessandro I shed the nickname and headed west to Westminster where I finished Jr high at Johnson. I started high school at Westminster where I played h20 polo and swim. I got in a lot of trouble there that I now regret. That was a really cool school (go Lions). Then I headed to Whittier where I went to Whittier Christian Academy. I played BB & BBall and had a good time while I was there (go Eagles). After high school I did some work with the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department. (NO, NOT as an inmate) and did some college. Mostly I just worked way too much and and partied more than I should of. I got into the transportation industry were my entrepreneurial spirit got the best of me and I started my own business. I sold it off and GM'ed for another company. Then I got the bug again and started another business. After building that company up I sold it and went back into management. Now I sell heavy construction equipment and do some consulting.
I have traveled extensively. mostly of the connecting states with many trips to Hawaii and a few south of the bor...Expand for more
der. My biggest achievements are my daughters 10 and 11 years old and my relationship with my beautiful wife. We've been together 17 years and married 12 of them. My daughters are brilliant over achievers that make me proud every day. I have recently decided to make Idaho our home state. I am done with the traffic, smog, crime, and bad attitudes of the people of LA (my friends and some family being the exception). I'll miss the warm weather and my awesome friends and family. I am currently planning my next business venture. Maybe a BBQ franchise..........
Looking back over the years and thinking of all the friends I have lost contact with I now regret not making more of an effort to keep in touch.
I'm sitting here enjoying the beauty of the Northwest wondering how my old friends are doing and what stories they must have to tell. I was just writing to an old friend from Westminster the other day when I realized it had been almost twenty years since last last we spoke (that is way too long). Oh the paths I have crossed in my busy life that I didn't even slow down to appreciate. Sometimes I didn't even pick my head up to see who was there.
Love, Peace, and God Bless !
Respectfully,
Carl
