graduated fm OSU in 82 served six years as a Navy Civil Engineer Corps (SEABEE) officer. Worked in private industry now a licensed engineer in three states. Married a girl from Harrisburg OR, raised two daughters,

April 2024 update, have recently retired, and am continuing a 20 yr hobby of building furniture, and getting ready to restore an 1850 barn on my wife's family property in Harrisburg. Although my parent's place burned in the Holiday Farm fire, when I salvage logged the place, it allowed me to divert two truck loads of old growth and have it milled to match the original barn construction. So I will be able to do true reconstruction as opposed to repairs with modern materials. And no, I will not be using square nails.
