Carla's Story
Needless to say much has happened over the past sixty two years. In a nut shell: I am married to a great guy, have two grown sons, two granddaughters (15 and 11) and one grandson, 13. My husband and I retired to the mountains seven years ago. We live on five acres in a log home surrounded by wild turkeys and deer. And, lots of squirrels. I worked in the financial world (Shuman, Agnew & Co. and Prudential Securities) for over twenty years and was a franchisee of H&R Block owning six franchises and nine offices in Northern California for another 15 years. is ongoing constantly due to our current politics. Ironically, Duncan Naylor's partner is our financial person. My other passion is cooking. Don't travel much anymore or go camping. My husband was an International airline pilot for Pan Am and UAL for 34 years. He was an avid fisherman and hunter but leaves that up to the younger generation now. We would leave California in a heart beat but all of my family and relatives are in the Bay Area. Attended the BHS 100 year reunion in October. I often think about all the good times we had at BHS and how very very fortunate we were to have lived in those times.
