Life I am going to begin with after high school if that is ok. Anyone who wishes to know my pre-graduation history is welcome to ask! So here it goes… After high school I spent several months roaming around Europe. My grandmother’s house, on the French Riviera, became my home-base. Upon returning, I put myself through college which took years!! I supported myself and my education by working as a waitress and sometimes model. Upon finishing college with two bachelor degrees: psychology and fine arts, I fell into being an Assistant Casting Director through my acting. I worked on many films including: Fried Green Tomatoes, Mississippi Burning, Driving Miss Daisy, Kalifornia and many many more. I loved working on the movie sets. I also worked part time at Ridgeview in their drug rehabilitation program. Although I found the work rewarding, I was much happier working in the arts and so it became my main focus. I had also played a character in the Georgia Renaissance Festival for many years, which lead to my being hired by a dance troupe on a tour around the United States. I loved acting and dancing and loved to travel. The year I spent on the road is priceless to me. I learned so many things and had many adventures. I had to rush home a little short of a year due to a family emergency. My sister fell ill and died in surgery. I stayed home to help with family matters and went back to working as an Assistant Casting Director. My sister’s death made it hard for me to focus so I decided to take a sabbatical. I moved to Hollywood Florida with my boyfriend (at the time). I lived on the beach which was wonderful!!! I worked as a waitress and later I started a nonprofit organization. I became an animal activist in the community. My partner and I were able to change local laws in dealing with stray animals. I am very proud of my work there. Many cats and dogs were saved and helped because of our hard work. When I was ready to get back to my life again, I moved to California to pursue my career in entertainment.
