Carla's Story
Workplace
I taught school in Seattle and Hawaii for a few years and then quit when I met my husband, thinking one teacher per household was quite enough and that teacher wasn't going to be me. But, I did teach preschool in Seattle's Highpoint Housing project while our kids were in preschool. After that I had a variety of jobs. One of the neatest was running a satelite museum at the Smith Tower...Expand for more
Building for MOHAI. Well a major in history and an interst in Seattle's history had to have some value. Since we moved to Maui I again went through job search even renting cars for a couple of years (oh well...)and both worked and volunteered at our local museum but for the last three years I've worked at our local library and love it. It's nice to be part of the neighborhood in this way.
