Carla's Story
Life
My life has been anything but dull. Marrried shortly after graduation. Had two children. One has since died due to complications of a double lung transplant. The transplant was needed because cystic fibrosis had destroyed his lungs and he had only weeks to live.
Classmates say to "update". So I will try. Life has been good to Jim and I. I suffered through some health issues, however I am doing fine now. As we age many changes happen, from our outlooks to our private moments. Each grow deeper ...Expand for more
with advancing years. Things that were magnified issues in years past are not important today.
We enjoy our son and his famiily so very much. Christmas last year was the best ever for Jim and I since our son died. We had a beautiful trip in February and nearly all of March. The snow and cold was so much fun for us. Jim and I needed that trip to reconnect.
Basically we live each day with whatever it brings and thank God we were given that day to see what we may have missed in the previous one.
