Life
Let's see... not much has changed in my life. I work weird hours, I love what I do (most days), and I am still in Florida. I may be relocating to Georgia in the near future, hopefully with my honey bear and as a "Ms." :) My relocation would most likely result in another bar exam :( I am at a peak in my life and so much happier than I've been in recent years. Realizing age thirty is so near makes me want to enjoy life and experience more of the things on my "to do list", including building a family. I am finally ready to become a wife and a mother and I get excited from the very thought of having a family. I am truly honored to share time and space with such a wonderful man who gives me faith in commitment and marriage. So, here I go...
School
This month marks the 11th year anniversary of my high school graduation. I love my experience at JCHS and I often think of "those days" and the people who were (and still are) significant in...Expand for more
my life. I have lived a dream... My biggest crush became my boyfriend and he treated me like a queen. The standards he set were high and I will always love him for that. My closest friends in high school are still my closest friends. Michelle is still my best friend and we have not aged at all. :) The teachers that inspired me the most are Ms. Coon and Ms. Norton and their principles and inspiration remain a part of my life. If I could go back in time and "do" high school all over again, I would not change anything.
College
FAMU is definitely an experience I will always remember. So many beautiful people of color...
I got the chance to really 'live' the 'college life' - dormitory, dirty roommates, overnighters w/ coke-instant coffee mixtures, and all. And, I wouldn't change anything! UF's environment was completely opposite from FAMU's; yet, I still enjoyed every minute of it. I am done with school and I am FINALLY an attorney!
