Carlette's Story
Life
Well, let's see...what has happened to me since we graduated?
I graduated, as most of you know with little Aimee in tow. She was 6 months old when we graduated. She is 32 now. Quickly followed behind were Theresa 30, Bryce 28, Kristofer 26, Kathryn 23, and Karleigh 19.
We had many, many foster children travel through our little home too. Of those children one very special child touched our hearts and we adopted her at the age of 12. Her name is Vicky and she is now 40.
Of course, with the kids you get spouses and grandchildren. They go like this:
Vicky (and Rob) have two kids: Courtney 20, and Christian 14 and they live in Delaware.
Aimee (and Dan) have no children yet and live in Colorado not far from us.
Theresa (and Tom) have two children: Paige 9 and Madison 6 and they still live in St. Marys.
Bryce (and Stephanie) have three children: Eleace 10, Ariel 7 and Amiri 4 and they all live about six hours from here at the end of the Colorado/Utah border.
Kristofer (and Kathy) just had a baby girl: Rian Kathleen and she is 3 weeks old now. They live in New Mexico....Expand for more
Katie (and Adam) had two children: Hunter (who passed last year) and Emalynn 1. They live about a block and a half from us right here in Colorado.
Karleigh (and Bret) have no children but have a buttload of critters. They live about 16 miles from us in Colorado.
You can see the kids and grandkids pictures on the pages here. I happen to be very prejudicial about them and think they are all gorgeous.
After high school I became an EKG Technician while going to nursing school. I spent most of my 43 years of nursing as an ER and ICU director. I am also a paramedic. Most recently I went back to my roots and became an ER nurse so that I could teach at a local college and, in my spare time, act as a coroner.
Jim is a paramedic and senior mechanic at the hospital near us. We have a small ranch in them middle of Colorado where we raise horses and the grandkids.
I would love to hear from all my classmates, etc. from back home. I don't get back to 'Burg too often (I was home in September of 2006 for the first time in 10 years-ish). Please drop me a line and we'll catch up!!
