Life During my 20's and early 30's I had many friends that were part of local rock/heavy metal music bands, such as Boystown, Asiz, Mutiny, and Giant Dogs. I started out just going to clubs and watching and later developed many friend relationships. I then started to be a drum tech and set up and break down a drummer's drum kit before and after their shows. I did this for 3 friends over the years. Of course, most of it is a blur. I did however get to meet and be friendly with two members of Pantera who I met through my last bands friendship with them. Daryl is and was an alright, great guy. I also have some great friends including Dave Crow and Joey C Jones. Dave had his own blue band called the Ju Ju Beans and him and Joey get together and play in Orange Helicopter. April Samuels is also a dear friend who is the best chick drummer around. I've lived in Grand Prairie and Arlington the whole time. I have moved back to Grand Prairie after purchasing a new home. I am a Special Education teacher (Resource) in Arlington. I am also the Special Education team leader at the school. I love it! School I spent all my years in G.P. schools. Kindergarten and 1st grade were at Evangle Temple Day School. Second through 5th was at the old Florence Hill Elementary. Sixth and 7th was at Jackson Middle School and 8th grade was as the first graduating class of Truman Middle School. All four fun, strange, interesting years of high school was at South.
