Carma's Story
For the past 24 years I have worked for The City of Issaquah, WA Police Department as a 911 Dispatcher. Many of you remember me attending school regular and summer classes ( I LOVED SCHOOL SO MUCH had to go all the time) ha - in a Sunnyside Police Department uniform. Things have not changed much. I love helping people. I still smile when I talk on the phone, that is a good thing.
I am married to my wonderful husband of 8 years. I never had children of my own. I became an instant Step Mom (now step is gone) and Grandmother and wife in one short step. It has been an amazing experience.

Last September I participated in The Susan G Komen 3 Day Breast Cancer Walk. From the beginning of training until the last steps into Memorial Stadium at the Seattle Center I logged over 600 miles. The 3 day walk is 60 miles. I had so many blisters... My husband Mark was my best supporter, he cheered me on and bandaged my feet and fixed everything else that ailed me. I am going to be walking again this coming September. I am on FaceBook and have the link there is you would like to financially support me in this endeavor. Last year I raised $3300.00. This year I would love to raise $5000.00.....
I look forward to reconnecting with so many people that I have lost track of.
