Life
Hi my name is Carmelo, but my nickname is Petey. I grew up in the Bronx at the Melrose projects, 681 Cortland Ave., this was in the late 50's & 60's. My first Love was Yolanda ( Cookie )I'll never forget her, she really meant alot to me. We both graduated from PS 3 elementory school in 1959, she went to Walton HS & I wound up in Morris HS. In 1962 I quit school & joined the Air Force ( got my GED ). In 1975 I moved to PR & lived there till 2002. Now I'm back in the Bronx, live with my mother & sister. o California. Actually I lost touch with all my friends, now that I'm back in the Bronx it's kind of lonely since I don't know where my old friends are. I joined Classmates to see if I can get together with my old friends or meet new friends from my era. I really enjoyed the 60's & miss those times. Again I would like to hear from anyone that knows me or new friends where we could exchange stories from our time. By the way if anyone knows about or where abouts of Cookie (Yolanda) i would reall love to hear from you.
