Carmen's Story
Life
Hello Class of l988!!! After graduation it was off to nursing school in Concord at Cabarrus Memorial School of Nursing. Graduated in l990. Then in l992 I married Stoney Harrison. I met him through friends from nursing school. We built a home in "Rimertown", its like "Cottonville", near Mt. Pleasant and still live there today. In l994 our first child was born, a daughter named Bethany Caroline. Yes, she's named after her Aunt Traci!!! In 2000, our second child was born, Haley Breann. Boy, it sure is true what they say, there is nothing like the second child. She's our "boy". They both have blond hair and Bethany has blue eyes and Haley has brown. I still play piano as much as I can. When I'm not taking Bethany to basketball or softball practice!! We attend Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church. We are happy and fortunately are still close to home. I visit Norwood when I can.
Mom and Dad still live on Chapel Rd. and yes we still ride horses. We also own a 2003 Harley Davidson Fat Boy!! It's what we do for fun!
Thanks for reading. Would love to hear from all of you.

Workplace
Graduated from Cabarrus Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in l990. Worked at Cabarrus Memorial, now NorthEast Medical Center, for two years. Desiring a daytime job, I accepted a position with Fresenius Medical Care aka Metrolina Kidney Center in Concord where I became a hemodialysis nurse. We provide treatments to patients who no longer have renal function and require these treatments as a life sustaining modality. I was a staff nurse until l994. At that time, I was promoted to charge nurse and continue in that position today. I have now completed a total of 12 years with the company and I am doing what I always said I would. I am NURSE!!
