Carol's Story

Life Joyce's Twin..I live in LaGrange, GA with my husband of 13 yrs...Lamon. I have 2 children(daughter 30 & son 27...both live in Charlotte,NC) 3 step-children(married son 28, daughter 24,& son 20..all live in LaGrange) and 5 grandkids (11,10,8,8,5). Moved in '72 from Macon,GA to Greenville,SC, then to LaGrange,Georgia right after high school graduation in '74. Went to Radiologic Technology School in LaGrange, GA. I work in the Radiology Dept at West GA Medical Center(been there 29 yrs!) as the Special Procedures Supervisor; I also do CAT scans, and diagnostic x-rays. m '70-'72; Eastside High School(Taylors,SC) from '72-'74(Graduated) College Winthrop College(Rock Hill, SC) from '74-'75; LaGrange College(LaGrange,GA) from '75-'76; Graduated from West GA Medical Center School of Radiologic Technology(LaGrange,GA,'75-'77). Registered in same in '77. Workplace After Radiology School, moved to Dublin, Ga and worked at Laurens Memorial Hospital for 1 year, then moved back to LaGrange, GA and went to work at West GA Medical Center in the Radiology Dept on 2nd shift, after 9 mos, promoted to 1st shift to train in Special Procedures, then later became Supervisor in same. Wanted to learn more, so learned to do CAT scans 4 years ago. Been at West GA Medical Center for 29 years! Very rewarding job.
