Carol's Story
Life
I was born in Ottawa, IL to Ralph & Jayne Bensema. I have two older sisters, an older brother and two younger sisters. We lived in Park Forest, IL on Arcadia Street from 1962 until June 1971 when we moved to to Burr Oak, MI. After graduating from Burr Oak High School I got a job at Sturgis Hospital and married Jerry Johnson. We have three children, Andrew, Kristen & Elizabeth Rose. We lived in Sturgis until 1986 when we moved west to Sacramento, CA. I worked as a Unit Clerk in the ER at a hospital in Roseville, ...Expand for more
CA for 9 years then became the ER Records Clerk. In December 1998 I transfered to the billing office as a General Office Clerk, until February 2001 when I became a Medicare Patient Account Representative.
I enjoy reading, singing and family history. I am in the process of reseaching and updating my family tree.
In recent years our family has taken up camping, our favorite spot is Lassen Volcanic National Park about 4 hours north of Sacramento. In July 2001 we climbed to the top of Lassen Peak, elevation 10, 457 ft.
